My name is Mark Wein and I am the author of "Foundations for Guitar", which is my effort to create the perfect starting point for anyone who is just beginning to learn to play the guitar, or has been playing for a while but would like to refine their basic skills on the instrument.  I've written "Foundations for Guitar" after nearly 20 years of teaching guitar both privately and in the classroom and not having everything that I wanted as an instructor in one resource.

      In this book we learn to read music, play open chords and movable chord shapes like "Barre Chords" and "Power Chords", how time and rhythm works, basic music theory, technique and much more!
